Requisitos

Eligibility:


HARS in collaboration with Santander will be offering 8 bursaries of £1000 each to undergraduate students from Birmingham City University, able to demonstrate high performing academic engagement.


Priority will be given to students from the following groups:

  • from low participation/high deprivation neighbourhoods
  • from minority ethnic backgrounds
  • who declare a disability
  • mature students
  • vulnerable groups, e.g. care leavers, estranged students

The HARS-Santander Widening Participation Bursary offers 8 undergraduate students the opportunity to be awarded a one-off bursary of £1,000 each. This award can be used to support living costs and aims at supporting students coming from traditionally under-represented groups within higher education.

High Achievers Recognition Scheme is open to all eligible students who achieve good results academically, and to those who have made significant progress in terms of their own distance travelled academically whilst studying at BCU. It is a scheme which rewards both effort and achievement. 

It is the only scheme of its kind in the UK which is currently supporting students at University level to step on and step up and maximise their potential to become the best that they can be alongside their degree qualification.
