To be eligible, you must;

  • be a first or second-year undergraduate student

We will prioritise students from households with an annual income of less £25000 per year, and other under represented groups. Students registered at partner colleges or transnational education partners and visiting students (incoming Erasmus+ and study abroad) are ineligible to apply

Thanks to generous funding provided by Santander Universities, the University of Greenwich is offering all its first-and second-year undergraduate students the exciting opportunity to take part in one of two international summer-schools. This is a great chance to develop your linguistic and cultural knowledge by experiencing another culture during your summer break, which will improve your CV and feed into your studies at Greenwich.

Apply for a three-week summer school at Hansung University in Seoul, South Korea

There are three scholarships available for students to attend the summer school at Hansung University. The programme schedule includes Korean language and culture classes, as well as field trips and cultural activities.

Successful applicants will receive a grant of £1000 to cover flights and to contribute towards living costs, while tuition, accommodation, some meals and an airport pick-up service will be provided.

Apply for a one-week summer school at San Jorge University in Zaragoza, Spain

There are 17 scholarships funded by Santander available for students to take part in the summer school at San Jorge University. Tuition fees, accommodation and flights will be provided for successful applicants.

Universidad San Jorge has prepared this Summer School in collaboration with the University of Greenwich in order

to provide students with a short, intensive international experience with the objective of improving intercultural,

international and language skills. As part of the summer school, there will be Spanish language classes, cultural activities, and industry visits.
